Tell state regulators: Do your math correctly. Don't shortchange solar's benefits.

Please thoroughly count all of the ways rooftop solar and battery storage reduces both pollution and the cost of operating the electrical grid. This includes the following:
- All avoided natural gas pollution, including the 90% of natural gas that comes from out-of-state.
- All avoided power line investment and maintenance costs, not just some of them.
- All of the above benefits over the entire lifespan of a solar and battery system, not just part of it.
Getting the math wrong will cause the Net Metering credit to get unnecessarily cut, discourage people from choosing solar and storage, and make California more polluted and less self-sufficient.”
