Hi,

We both have solar, so I thought you might be interested in the Solar Rights Alliance. They are the nonprofit association of California solar owners and they help inform solar users about the stuff that utilities are trying to do to hurt our investments. 

Over the past few years, the Solar Rights Alliance helped defeat legislation that would have made people pay a new fee as high as $700 per year just for having solar panels on the roof. They also helped block a proposal just this year that would have canceled our net metering contracts. 

Solar Rights Alliance is sponsoring a short petition to our state reps in Sacramento asking them to support rooftop solar. I signed it, and you might want to sign it as well: https://www.solarrights.org/the-sun-belongs-to-everyone-2.

Solar Rights Alliance’s website is https://www.SolarRights.org you want to check them out before signing the petition. Given Edison’s hostility to customers making their own solar energy, I think it’s really important that we solar owners stay coordinated and work together.
