The Threat: Monopoly utilities are working to undermine your solar investment
Some of their recent efforts include:
- A “Solar Tax” as high as $700 per year just for having solar panels on your roof.
- Breaking two million net metering contracts.
- Blocking rooftop solar for apartment buildings, schools, and farms.
Solar owners have worked together to stop these threats, but we need your help
- Solar users have done a great job writing and calling our elected officials to defeat the utilities’ efforts to undermine rooftop solar.
- Lawmakers tend to stand up for your solar investment when lots of their constituents contact them.
- The opposite is also true, which means it is really important for solar users like you to make your voice heard.
