To our elected representatives:
I am a rooftop solar owner. I believe rooftop solar is a good thing.
The sun belongs to everyone, so please use your power to protect my choice to have solar.

The Threat: PG&E, SoCal Edison, and SDG&E are working to undermine your solar investment
Some of their recent efforts include:
- A “Solar Tax” as high as $700 per year just for having solar panels on your roof.
- Breaking your net metering contract, which is a twenty year guarantee that you will be fairly compensated for the extra solar energy you send to your neighbors.
- Falsely blaming solar users for California’s high electricity rates.
Solar owners have worked together to stop these threats, but we need your help
- Solar users have done a great job writing and calling our elected officials to defeat the utilities’ efforts to undermine rooftop solar.
- Lawmakers tend to stand up for your solar investment when lots of their constituents contact them.
- The opposite is also true, which means it is really important for solar users like you to make your voice heard.
