Stop LADWP’s exorbitant solar fee
Dear LADWP General Manager & Commissioners, and LA Mayor Garcetti:
“I oppose LADWP charging fees of $900 to $4,500 on solar. These fees will discourage my neighbors from choosing solar and battery storage.
We know LADWP can do better. SoCal Edison and PG&E only charge $75 and $145 respectively to connect a solar system to the grid.
Los Angeles has some of the most ambitious clean energy goals in the country. To reach these goals, decision-makers should be encouraging more people to make and store solar energy at home and at work. These fees would do the opposite.”
