Ask your Mayor: follow the law and make it easier to go solar
Dear Mayor:
The Solar Access Act (SB 379) requires our city to adopt online, automated, and instantaneous streamlined permitting for rooftop solar and batteries.
My understanding is that we are not in compliance with the law, and the deadline passed on September 30th, 2024.
I am hoping you can help ensure that we comply quickly. This new law is good for local residents because it makes it easier for me and my neighbors to go solar. Thank you!
