Tell federal energy regulators: Stop the sneak attack on solar
Dear Federal Energy Commissioners:
“I am one of the 2.2 million families and businesses who have invested in solar energy as a way to secure my energy independence. I urge you to deny the petition to strip states of their right to regulate energy choices.
It is particularly disturbing to deal with this during the pandemic. As our homes have become our sanctuaries, local solar has given people peace of mind financially and enabled them to protect their families against the increasingly unreliable and unpredictable electricity grid.
Rooftop solar also helps everyone save by reducing transmission costs, providing local clean energy and increasing grid resilience.
I urge you to oppose this attack on states’ ability to set energy policy for their own residents.”
