Vote No on unnecessary red tape for Plug-In Solar
Dear Ventura County Supervisor:
Please vote No on the proposal to add unnecessary red tape for residents who want to use Plug-In solar systems.
The California Legislature is already working to establish a statewide safety standard for Plug-In solar (SB 868). The Ventura County proposal will not make these units safer. It will just make it harder for residents to use them.
People are struggling to pay their electricity bills. Plug-In solar is an opportunity for everyday people to safely reduce those costs. Don’t ruin this opportunity for residents before it even starts. Thank you.
