Step 2: Let us know you are doing this, so we can let the local media know.
Step 3: Make your sign
- Recommended signs [Use PG&E, Edison, or SDG&E depending on where you live]:
- “Honk to Stop PG&E: NO on AB 942!”
- “Blow the Horn on PG&E: NO on AB 942!”
- Use large poster board paper
- Write in large black letters so drivers can see your sign. Red is a good secondary color. Avoid light colors like yellow and orange.
Step 4: Invite a few people to join you (and make signs for them too)
Step 5: On Tuesday April 29th, go to a location suggested above. Wave your sign(s) and get cars to honk.
- The best times are either 12:00 to 1:00 or 5:00 to 6:00, when there are the most cars.
- Get someone to take a few photos of you and a short video
- If a member of the media shows up, tell them what you think about the proposal to break your solar contract
Step 6: Send us your photos and video right away so we can amplify it on social media.
You can email or text these to us at [email protected] or 619-292-8740
THANK YOU!!
