Ask your State Senator: Please cut the solar red tape
“Dear Senator:
Please put your full support behind SB 617 (Wiener) and cut the red tape that increases the cost and hassle of going solar, and deters would-be solar users.
In this day and age, cities should be able to use technology to issue solar permits and inspections quickly and inexpensively, while also maintaining safety and reliability. Cities like San Jose have already done this, with positive benefits all around.
It’s common sense. But we also know that in government, old habits die hard. That’s why we need your leadership right now to help get this legislation passed.”
