PG&E just admitted what their Utility Tax will really do

We warned that new “Base Services Charge” would cause bills to go up for millions of Californians who live in do not use much electricity. We said this was essentially a Utility tax that will penalize people who live in apartments, condos, and small homes, as well as those with solar and who practice energy conservation. Now, the utilities admit this is exactly what their new fixed charge does. And the silence from Gov. Newsom and the state lawmakers who put this uncapped tax into place is deafening.
